These changes in climate allowed flowers and grasses to appear for the first time. Supersaurus (meaning "super lizard") is a genus of diplodocid sauropod dinosaur discovered in 1972. Recent discoveries show Supersaurus to be a large relative of the familiar Apatosaurus, a member of the diplodocid subfamily Apatosaurinae. Some say Supersaurus is merely an old Diplodocus.
Jurassic Park Series
Supersaurus never appeared in any films or novels. It only appears in Jurassic Park III: Park Builder.
